I quite like Amy thus far, but man, all her expressions seem to come with an overlay of mild surprise.

How much do I love Martha? So much! Easily my favourite new series companion thus far (barring Jack, but come on, you can’t compete with Jack).

I really have to work on toothy smiles that’re a little more “childlike glee” and a little less “your hide will make a fine poncho“.

Soooo if I’m doing companions in approximate order, and Sarah Jane was never a new series companion but she WAS an old-series companion who showed up in the new series, and then got a spinoff series of her own… oh, whatever.

I do watch, and enjoy, the Sarah Jane Adventures, at any rate. The first season, especially, is like if they made Doctor Who with the mandate that everyone and everything in it must be adorable.

Also, I’m beginning to realize I should have just titled this entire month as “God, I Love Hair.”

Poor ol’ Mickey the Idiot, the honorary tin dog of the group. At least he managed to come into his own in the end, instead becoming Mickey the Badass Alien Fighter. He may not be my favourite character, but he certainly had some of the best character development of the series thus far.
