I’ve never been more annoyed at the series and at the Doctor as a character than at Harriet Jones’ ousting. Yes, the bad guys were leaving. Presumably to ENSLAVE OTHER PLANETS. Not your problem, Doctor?

Well, I suppose it’s not like she was replaced by an evil mastermi- OH WAIT.

I kind of hated most of season 2 – too much Doctor/Rose “OH WE’RE BESTEST FRIENDS” going on, not to mention I’ve never really warmed to Cybermen – but I freaking love the The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit two-parter. That whole “I’m right behind you. If you look at me, you will die. I’m closer now…” shtick gets me every time, probably one of the creepiest moments in the series. I always watch it in the dark!

I only wish these were in colour so I could show off the red eyes. As a wise LJ comment once said – “Possessed by a deathless prince of evil? There’s a visine for that.”
