Jeronimus: “About the character: Inspector Porei is a stubborn man. He claims to have resigned from the police force to become a private detective because their views didn’t correspond. The truth is, however, that he was fired, yet he never says this and constantly brags about his own worth.
Appearance: A rather small and stocky man. His hairline is receding and his dark hair is subtly turning grey. He has a very thin moustache and just an ever so slight stubble after not shaving for a day. He usually wears a nice, three-piece tweed suit, and a tie. He has a clever appearance (although, looks can be deceiving), tries to look important.
Additional crap: Porei is a smoker, he doesn’t like paperwork and his fan is broken.”
Ahaha, I love this guy, he was so much fun to draw. Last time I did this whole ink and tones style was back at the beginning of the month when I drew my own character. Apparently “private detective” equals “halftone pattern” in my head? Yeah, okay.

Jeronimus
Love, love, love. Absolutely perfect. The halftone pattern sure fits in perfectly with the character, so I love what you did with this. I feel like this picture’s going to be influencing me when I start doing my rewrites in december, but that’s a good thing.
(Also, great that you love this guy and thought he was fun to draw :D, I’ll take that as a tiny bit of a compliment, although of course, I’d shower you with compliments as well.)
