November 2: Dannae

TheGreekParvula: “Dannae is a brand-new character of mine, an elf from a sort of D&D-ish fantasy/medieval setting. She’s a court jester, but she does not wear the stupid hat. She does, however, wear one of those fancy masquerade-type masks (ala one of these things – but not necessarily that one in particular, just that general sort of style). It’s to keep people from guessing that she’s the illegitimate daughter of the lord of the castle – which she’s not actually, but she sort of is, and more importantly she looks like she is, and there are those who think that she is, and she wants them to keep thinking that and everyone else to keep their noses out to begin with. It’s complicated. Layers of trickery wrapped up in deceit, etc, etc.

Anyway, moving on – amber eyes, long blonde hair. I’m not really sure whether she wears it up or down, so you can leave that to artist’s choice. She’s a tumbler and a knife-dancer, so she’s usually wearing practical but festive clothing, and has knives just about everywhere on her person that she can reach – most of them have bright ribbons tied to the pommel or something like that. She’s unusually tall, even for an elf – I think about 6′7″, though I don’t have her info right in front of me, and 155lb. Very mischievous, cheerfully sarcastic, chaotic kind of personality.”

Spent way, way longer on this than I meant to, and than I really should for a daily. Meant to do two today and catch up, but instead I was hypnotized by flowy ribbons.
